WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY:
High quality lodge-like interior touches - the reclaimed/repurposed wood throughout is grand. The neighbors. Seriously this is the best neighborhood in our area with warm wonderful full-time residents. This property has wonderful outdoor living spaces with lots of elbow room such as the detached deck, covered parking, and firepit - all with some privacy features. Doggie friendly with kennel provided. There is a 2.5 acre field across street for kids to romp on.

PROPERTY LOCATION and ACCESSIBILITY:
Paved roads all the way to the level gravel drive. It is about 15 minutes from our world class Blanchard Caverns Recreation area and OK Trading Post with horse trail riding. It is 5 minutes from Angler's Restaurant/Fishing Guide Services and 10 - 15 minutes from shopping, medical, and food in the town that you will fall in love with, MOUNTAIN VIEW ARKANSAS.
Other area attractions include Sylamore Creek - for swimming and smallmouth bass fishing, Ozark Folk Center State Park, Loco Ropes Course (temp closed), Arkansas Craft School - all within about 15 minutes.
ABOUT THE WATER:
This river is very cold and swift even in August. Makes for great cool breezes on summer evenings. Here, the White River is tailwater from two dams and levels fluctuate daily. It is rare when the level is low enough for you to find a gravel bar and stick your feet in. It is not known as a swimming destination. Yes, you can cast a line from the bank but it is not ideal yet we've seen photographic evidence more than once of guest success. About a mile away are two public launch areas where we recommend family friendly fishing outings. The White River is famous for trout: rainbows and browns. Anglers' and Jack's Resort rent John boats and trout guide services economically. Boats can take you to confluences of other creeks where you can comfortably swim also. Really fun!
PETS:
Max 3. We love dogs! And they are welcome here for an additional fee of $85 for up to 3 dogs - a flat fee for the duration of your stay. Outdoor dog kennel supplied for your personal use.
*Heads up: sometimes your fur babies are not included in your quote on certain booking sites! Please send us a message to let us know your pup(s) will be accompanying you during your stay. ~ 2 TVs with streaming access. Mid-level cable package provided on main TV. You supply logins to your favorite Roku apps like Netflix
~ highest speed wifi available in area - up to 50 mbps
~ unlimited long distance calling via landline (cell signal is poor at property - but can enable wifi calling on most phones)
~ 1 large Holland (high quality) propane grill under covered parking
~ 1 outdoor firepit with bench seating and firewood supplied

~ All properties are self check-in – with key code – after 4pm. Check out is 11am.
~ Taxes and clean/supply fees are always required as is a processing fee that varies depending who you are booking through.
~ We cannot accept CANCELLATION variances due to personal reasons or area attraction closures. If we are mandated to close our rental operations, you will be refunded 100% or given the option of credit for future reservations good for 12 months.
1. We've lowered the down payment to reserve from 50% to 15%. IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
2. If you need to change your reservation due to COVID-related government mandates, we will apply your monies paid towards future reservation good for 12 months from booking date.
3. If you prefer to just cancel, we will retain your monies paid according to the policy timeline, refunding the remainder. We always refund 100% of cleaning and pet fees
4. Please note that 3rd party sites like AirBnB have different policies in effect. Please read their fine print.

We spent the week in this sweet cabin. The outside deck was magical at twilight with all the lightning bugs and the river view. Everything you could need was there at your disposal. I would recommend cooking as the food as well as service we encountesee more

The place was spotless when we arrived, the property management company was quick to respond when we called with a question, and it’s an easy drive into Mountain View if you want to check out the town. There’s definitely not much to it, but again, that was the goal! We had lovely interactions with the folks at Bushel and a Peck and the Sasquatch Cave, as well as everyone in the shops on Main St. and at night, a cozy fire in the fire pit was perfect.

I enjoyed my stay at this cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, spacious, quiet neighborhood. Directions were easy to follow. Cabin was close to local attractions. My only issue was the thermostat would not stay at a desired temperature the last night I staysee more

The cabin temperature would return to 77° a short time after adjusting the thermostat lower and the cabin was uncomfortable to sleep. Had I been staying one more night, I would have reached out to IvyVacations. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

The neighborhood is very peaceful and a perfect place to relax! The river view is beautiful and provides cool air in the evenings and mornings. Mountain View is a short easy drive. The are lots of outdoor adventures to be had close by! Be sure to checkout Sylamore creek and Blanchard springs for swimming!! Also try the catfish at Anglers restaurant which is two miles from the cabin on the White river! We will definitely rent this cabin again!

Anglers restaurant was close and a great spot to enjoy an outdoor dinner on the White River. We even walked around the neighborhood one evening and the neighbors were all so nice. We felt right at home in this cute cabin and neighborhood.

Enjoyed the quiet setting overlooking the river. Especially enjoyed access to the boat ramp two doors down to fish. Our dog loved it too. We didn’t have mobile phone coverage with AT&T but the Wi-Fi and internet exceeded my expectations.

This was such a relaxing cabin to stay at! Small but open and cozy and I love the theme!! The master bed is firm (memory foam type) but comfortable! You can easily see white river from the cabin but can’t fishdon’t have water access directly on site see more

You can easily see white river from the cabin but can’t fishdon’t have water access directly on site and have to go about 2 miles away which was easy enough. If you bring a dog I suggest bringing a n indoor crate so they don’t have to stay in the outside caged area when you go out. Communication with Ivy was amazing and they even provided a list of events that were taking place during our stay. Overall this location is clean, enjoyable and I would definitely stay here again!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. As many have pointed out, it looks small from the outside but seems so spacious and comfortable inside. The Floor plan was well thought out, and we were most appreciative of the customized details that made this see more

The Floor plan was well thought out, and we were most appreciative of the customized details that made this feel like a home instead of a hotel suite. We loved walking our dog in the neighborhood, meeting friendly neighbors and hearing the nostalgic whistle and clickety-clack of the occasional train passing nearby. Several days of rain limited our use of the deck overlooking the White River, much to our disappointment. I hope to visit again.

The cabin was so clean, beds were a dream to fall into after a day of hiking. The lights over the patio at night was perfect for dinner, drinks and to makes friends with a local cat. The location was something that we appreciated. We were very close to a great lunch at the Angler’s Resort, hiking and swimming at Blanchard Spring and Mirror Lake Trail, we also enjoyed some live music in town. Cheyenne was a great host. We will definitely be making this trip more often

Cutest little cabin for our family vacation to Arkansas. Very clean!! Hiking, fishing, swimming all near by! Anglers restaurant had great food. We had a GREAT time! Would definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you!

W O W !!! This place is absolutely wonderful!! I’ve stayed at many places but, this by far is my favorite. The communication we received on our day of check in was top notch and when they heard we were going to be in town an hour early they gave us asee more
W O W !!! This place is absolutely wonderful!! I’ve stayed at many places but, this by far is my favorite. The communication we received on our day of check in was top notch and when they heard we were going to be in town an hour early they gave us access early. The patio was our favorite place to sit and drink our morning coffee or hang out in the evening. The place was wonderfully comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. I like to stay at different places when I travel but, this is one that I would love to come back to. The Vacation Rental company and owners were great!! Wish I could give you 10 stars!!! Go ahead and reserve this place you will not be disappointed!!

We had never been to Arkansas but this property quickly led us to fall in love with Arkansas and the mountain view area. The property was amazing. Of course the property is clean but this property is so much more It is a portal to a little peice of hsee more

Of course the property is clean but this property is so much more It is a portal to a little peice of heaven not only did us humans have a great time so did our dog. We are going to try to visit ever year from now on.

We always enjoy our stay with Ivy Vacations! Excellent communication, tidy/clean cabin, and the mattresses are comfy. The neighborhood is so quaint and the location right on the water is so inviting. We stayed on the deck during the day/evening and enjoyed the patio lights above. Quick ride to Jojos for dinner and renting our boat. Thanks again to the owners and to Ivy Vacations- we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Coolwater Comfort! Upon arriving we immediately noticed how neat and tidy everything was on the outside and inside. The open floor plan and layout of the cabin was more than enough space for our 2 dogs, 4 adults, and 2see more
We absolutely loved our stay at Coolwater Comfort! Upon arriving we immediately noticed how neat and tidy everything was on the outside and inside. The open floor plan and layout of the cabin was more than enough space for our 2 dogs, 4 adults, and 2 children. The cabin had the cutest decor and we enjoyed checking out all the detail that went into this place. They’re right, the bunk bed is extremely sturdy and much bigger than what the picture showed. During our stay we had extremely cold weather (windchills in the single digits) so we loved utilizing the extra heat source of the fire place. We never got cold in the cabin. We have stayed at 2 other cabins in Mountain View and this was by far our favorite place! Thank you for providing such a clean, beautiful, and fun cabin for our stay!

It was much, much better than we ever imagined!! Even the small things that they did to make the stay easier and more pleasant!! We really could not have been happier!!!!

This is a cute little cabin with a really nice river view. Super quiet and relaxing! It was fairly easy to find if you follow the provided directions closely. The decor is rustic but nice. The side yard area is the real gem of the place. It’s strung see more

The side yard area is the real gem of the place. It’s strung with lights and is so calming at night! It also has a nice fire pit and lots of good seating. The deck looks out onto the water and is the perfect place to have your morning coffee. We only stayed for one night but I would def suggest 2 or more to really enjoy the place and the area. Mountain View has a lot to offer- if the curvy mountain roads don’t bother you! Lol

Neighborhood: This Mountain View neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet. If you are looking for a place for some R&R, this is the place. Place: It is so beautiful and tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy the electric fireplace every night and even enjoy a bonfire outside at night and I enjoyed walking the dog by the river every day. The layout of the house is very open and our dog enjoyed running the length of the house multiple times a day. The bed is so comfortable and we loved that the bedroom did not have any windows as we sleep well in complete darkness. Local experience: we visited their downtown and spent quite a while visiting with the local business owners who are so friendly. Food is yummy at the Rainbow Cafe and Krispy House. We are planning on coming back! Thank you!

So impressed with our clean and spacious cabin. Very comfy beds and Netflix on the TVs!! Everything we needed and friendly locals. Beautiful deck to relax on while watching the river pass by. We will definitely stay here again.

My family and I had the BEST Thanksgiving of our lives at this amazing, tranquil retreat. This is the most perfect cabin! The open concept is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace. The bed in the master is super comfy and our teen loved tsee more

totally clean, as pretty as the pictures. the folks at Ivy Vacations were welcoming and available when we needed them. We didn't get to spend too much time outside because of event we were attending down the road but the firepit and deck are great besee more
