WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THIS PROPERTY:
Cutie pie little cabin right in town on the main drag and within 7 minutes easy walking to the historic courthouse square. Economical, easy in and out, and for the mobility challenged, very accessible. There is plenty of elbow room on the lot and you are not looking at other neighbors from the porch. Lawn is more than ample size and there is a wooded lot in the back.
**If you need additional space, you can also book our other property next door: The Homestead on Main. It is a newly renovated 4 bedroom home.

PROPERTY LOCATION and ACCESSIBILITY:
Property is paved all the way to the door. It is absolutely centrally located on MAIN STREET with its own dedicated driveway. You can walk to the town square in about 7 minutes (0.3 miles). It is about 20 minutes from our world class Blanchard Caverns Recreation area and OK Trading Post with horse trail riding. It is 10 minutes from Angler's restaurant/ Fishing guide services and 5 minutes from shopping, medical in the town you're going to fall in love with, MOUNTAIN VIEW ARKANSAS.
Some other area attractions include North Sylamore Creek Access, Ozark Folk Center State Park, Loco Ropes Course (tree top adventures), Arkansas Craft School - and more!
PETS:
Max 3. We love dogs! And they are welcome here for an additional fee of $65 for up to 3 dogs - a flat fee for the duration of your stay.
*Heads up: sometimes your fur babies are not included in your quote on certain booking sites! Please send us a message to let us know your pup(s) will be accompanying you during your stay. See further rules in the rental agreement. For example: pets are not allowed on furniture but we provide doggy sheets if it's difficult to keep them off - like ours!

~ BYO toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste, etc.

~ We offer free to all our guests an EV charging station. It is a Tesla level 2 and we provide J-1772 adapter for other vehicles. It is located on the historic town square in Mountain View, Arkansas > where you can likely catch some dulcimers in action while waiting on your juice.
~ We also offer kayak and canoe rentals available to peruse after booking

We are Ivy Vacations LLC, a professional vacation rental management company. We are readily found in a search. We love the area and mostly live very locally to the properties. All properties are self check-in – with key code – after 4pm. Check out is 11. Taxes and clean/supply fees are always required as is a processing fee that varies dependent who you are booking through.
We cannot accept CANCELLATION variances due to personal reasons or area attraction closures. If we are mandated to close our rental operations, you will be refunded 100% or given the option of credit for future reservation good for 12 months.
1. We've lowered the down payment to reserve from 50% to 15%. IT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
2. If you need to change your reservation due to COVID related government mandates, we will apply your monies paid towards future reservation good for 12 months from booking date.
3. If you prefer to just cancel, we will retain your monies paid according to the policy timeline, refunding the remainder. We always refund 100% of cleaning and pet fees
4. Please note that 3rd party sites like AirBnB have different policies in effect. Please read their fine print.
5. Airbnb has an agreement with the state of Arkansas to collect and remit sales tax. For all other bookings, we collect and remit applicable sales taxes as required for all fees associated with a reservation.

It was a bit hard to get out of the driveway into the main street with a big truck, but not really a showstopper. There may not be much that can be done about it and smaller cars should have less of an issue.

Flea market shopping watch Christmas movie did some crafts just had a good little quiet weekend in my quiet little cottage I would recommend it The only thing you need to know is if you come in at night The driveway is not a solid area of concrete it’s like 2 sidewalks, so it’s OK to drive on it because it’s supposed to be that way! I wasn’t sure at first and thought I was at the wrong place to park but other than that it was great and there was nothing wrong with that actually, I just didn’t know at first!!

We were in Mtn View (home) simply to deal with some family concerns. No beds available, so had to go this route. We simply needed a bed and a shower, the rest of the time we were working my mom's house issues. In retrospect, there are several new motels on 5N that we should have tried. They would give us daily service and a better value. But. . . perhaps if we were experienced B&B'rs we would have thought this place was amazing. The pictures show exactly what the place is, and it is clean, so if that's what others believe makes this a good deal, then it is for them.

Thanks so much for the lovely stay. I was traveling by myself with my toddler and felt safe and peaceful here. The hosts were very responsive and gave easy instructions on where the property was located and the code to get inside. The house was nice see more

There are sidewalks leading to the square if you want to window shop on your way there. If I come to Mountain View again, I would look at booking this place again.

The layout made the space seem less cramped. The inside was clean and tidy. The location is an easy walk to the square and in the other direction, to the Dollar Tree. The outside area is quite spacious with plenty of room for walking the dog.

This old house was clean and comfortable. Even though you are on a major road, it is quite inside. The only issue I had was there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. I called Ivy Vacations and asked for an extension cord to be able to blow dry see more
This old house was clean and comfortable. Even though you are on a major road, it is quite inside. The only issue I had was there was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. I called Ivy Vacations and asked for an extension cord to be able to blow dry my hair. It was delivered the next morning. Problem solved right? Well I discovered that the sockets are as old as the 1950’s or older. This means they do not have a ground receptacle. My husband being an audio engineer was prepared, he had an adapter in his gig bag which had the ground receptacle. Problem solved. The last time we stayed in an Ivy property, the electrical socket was too far from the mirror. But we had an extension cord on that trip. When we stayed there again, a mirror was placed above the kitchen sink and near a socket. So I’m confident that they address issues as they arrive. We will stay there again.
